UFC and StrikeForce veteran Mike Kyle (19-9-1 MMA) will fight Valentijn Overeem (32-30 MMA) at Championship Fighting Alliance's 11th event on May 24 at BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida.
Kyle is the King of the Cage Light Heavyweight champion. He holds notable wins over James Irvin, Rafael Cavalcante and Tsuyoshi Kohsaka. However Kyle lost his last fight against Gegard Mousasi by submission (rear naked choke) at the end of round one at final StrikeForce event on January 12, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Valenyijn is the brother of well-known UFC fighter Alistair Overeem. He competed in MMA since 1996. The Dutch also has notable wins, including wins over UFC hall-of-famer Randy Couture, English MMA Veteran Ian Freeman and Ray Sefo to name a few. But Overeem has his past two fights where in the last fight he was TKO’d in the opening round by Evgeniy Erokhin at Pankration: Battle Of Empires 2 on 15 December 2012 in Khabarovsk, Russia.
